We believe every captain deserves complete situational awareness. Modern glass helms begin with an expensive marine-grade MFD from the big marine electronics providers. These provide core features like GPS, SONAR, RADAR, fish finders, and high quality chart plotters and charts. The HelmLogix Marine Information System (MIS) augments the user experience provided by these MFDs. The HelmLogix MIS is comprised of our NautiWare software that leverages high quality but commodity computing elements, touch screens and sensing devices to create an AFFORDABLE, powerful, cross systems aware, unified glass helm, giving you real-time insight into every system aboard.

About the Founder
HelmLogix was founded by US expat David Tobias in Freeport, Grand Bahama. With 35 years of engineering experience at IBM, AMD, Synaptics, N-trig and SigmaSense—specializing in CPU architecture, software and touchscreen technology—Dave built these systems first for his own 42-foot yacht and tested daily in real offshore conditions. Now he's making them available to the marine community.

Hardware Requirements
NautiWare runs on customer-supplied hardware. You provide the touchscreen and compute module; we provide the software that makes them useful. No proprietary hardware lock-in, no expensive marine-branded PCs.
