HL-MPIC-001 ALPHA PROGRAM
We are putting the HL-MPIC-001 marine controller on a handful of real boats before it goes on sale. It is a standalone embedded device you run from any laptop or phone browser — nothing to install — and it is the foundation the NAUTIHELM application suite will layer onto later, using credentials you get through the MPIC. Five to ten vessels, free hardware, and a direct line to the product team.

WHAT IT DOES FOR YOU, DAY ONE
Nobody installs a relay just to have a relay. This is what it does aboard:
SLEEP AT ANCHOR
Monitors your GPS position from the NMEA 2000 bus: set your drop point and swing radius, and the MPIC sounds your own siren or horn if the boat drags. It also warns you if the GPS fix is lost while the watch is armed. The watch runs as long as you stay anchored; a swing plot shows your track.
A MINIMUM-DEPTH ALARM
Watches your shallowest sounder and sounds your own siren or horn when the depth drops below the limit you set. A 48-hour depth and tide chart shows the trend.
EVERY LOAD BY NAME
Pumps, lights, and gear switched by name from any phone or laptop aboard — with power-on and failsafe policy you set once.
YOUR HOUSE BANK, WATCHED
Live state of your LiFePO4 house battery bank — multiple batteries supported — with an autonomous low-charge alarm, and a LiFePO4 smart 50% maintainer using your existing Victron Cerbo enabled inverter/charger. Requires BMSes that broadcast BLE wireless data.
KNOW WHAT HAPPENED
Eight Analog-Digital Inputs read float switches, doors, and contacts — bilge activity, hatches, shore power — and can trigger alarms or switch relays at the trip points you set.
NMEA 2000 GATEWAY
An NMEA 2000 to Ethernet/WiFi gateway: your instrument data, served over the boat network to the marine apps you already run.
ALARMS WITHOUT INTERNET
The safety logic runs on the controller itself and keeps working when the network is down.
AI SUPPORT THAT KNOWS YOUR BOAT

Questions and answers are recorded so the product team can follow up and improve the documentation. Answers come from an AI assistant with HELMLOGIX product knowledge; hardware decisions worth money deserve a confirming e-mail to the product team.
